Chili Cook-off and 4th of July Celebration July 4, 2022
It's time for a good old-fashioned 4th of July Chili Cookoff competition. Join other fit4mom moms and their families at the Lake Chateau 4th of July celebration all day, and help win the chili cook-off.

The celebration begins at 9 am in front of the pool house of Lake Chateau, with a performance of The Star Spangled Banner, and a continental breakfast (like donuts, pastries, or fruit, for example).
After breakfast, let the games begin! Bring a decorated bike or tricycle for your kiddos to ride in the bike parade, but before that parade, watch the dads ride the kiddo's tricycles or bikes down the street while we soak them with hoses and water balloons. There will be relays for the kiddos and other fun games as well.
After the games, get ready to cook! It's time to whip up that famous chili. There will be several teams, but Team Fit4mom is going to win!! Come be on our team and help us fine tune that chili so we can win the trophy!. Then have fun tasting everyone else's chili and judging for yourself which one is the best.
While the chili is cooking, there will be a talent show put on by the local residents - want to participate? Let Caralee know.
Get ready for that bike parade! A FIRE TRUCK comes to Lake Chateau to drive down the street, and the bike parade follows behind. At the end of the parade, the fire truck stops to let the kids and families take pictures in their new fire hats. It's a picture perfect moment, and a nice small-town Fourth of July tradition that's fun for the whole family.
After the chili cook-off, go swimming in the pool, or just take a break and relax on the lawn, bring some lawn chairs and we'll watch the fireworks together on Caralee's front lawn (they go off at Laguna Niguel Regional Park).
Can't make it all day? No problem! Come for whatever parts you'd like - drop by to say "hi"
